The Fender Custom Shop ’61 Telecaster Closet Classic blends early-’60s Tele tone and feel with refined Custom Shop craftsmanship and tasteful vintage aging. Finished in a striking Surf Green lacquer, this model features a resonant roasted alder body paired with a quarter-sawn maple neck and AAA rosewood fingerboard for exceptional stability, comfort, and classic Fender response. The soft “V” neck profile and vintage-style frets provide a smooth, familiar playing experience, while the hand-wound ’63 Tele pickups deliver articulate twang, rich midrange, and unmistakable vintage Telecaster character. The Closet Classic treatment gives the guitar the appearance and feel of a carefully preserved original from Fender’s golden era.
